March 8

As close to a nothing day as possible.  Spent the day preparing our stuff for the embassies and hung out around Ankara, eating and relaxing.  For the Turkmenistan embassy, we need photos, other visas – Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan – questionnaires, application forms, letters indicating our route and reason for being and photocopies of our passport.  For the Chinese visa, we might need even more, still not sure yet.  It could be as simple as walking in with our passports and our application forms and dropping them off, but we might need flights, hotel bookings, proof of finances, a letter from our embassy… the list goes on.  Tomorrow is probably going to be a nightmare day.
